About
Virtual Meetings - a time for people from our local churches, pastors, NWYM boards, and representatives to be inspired, to learn, and to hear more about what God is doing in NWYM!All times posted are Pacific Standard Time. The general schedule will include:
Friday, February 6:
4:00 pm - Board Meetings (most boards begin at this time)
6:00 pm – NWYM Vision Banquet (featuring: Superintendent Address)
7:15 pm – Board Meetings continued (if needed)
8:30 pm – Recommended time to conclude
Saturday, February 7:
8:00 am – Board Meetings continued (if needed)
9:00 am – Representative Business Meetings begin
12:00 noon – Lunch break
1:00 pm – Equipping Workshops:
1) Workshop 1: "Raising Up the Next Generation of Leaders,” featuring Grant Banham (City’s Edge and Camp Tilikum) and Jesse Penna (Director of Student and Young Adult Ministries, MidAmerica Yearly Meeting)
2) Workshop 2: “What Every Church Needs: 5 Core Strategies to Nurture Strong Stewardship Ministries,” featuring our new consultant from Everence Financial Services, Steve Bustos
2:30 pm – Representative Meetings
4:30 pm – Dismissal
NOTE: Anyone in NWYM is welcome and invited to attend the NWYM Vision Banquet and the Equipping Workshops, but all pastors, elders, representatives, board members, and other church leaders will be especially interested. All times posted are Pacific Standard Time.
