Join us as we celebrate 50 years of making a difference!

It all began in the spring of 1976, when six families gathered in their homes with a shared hope and prayer: to establish a church where anyone could belong and where people would point the way to the cross.

Over the next 50 years, God would grow that small gathering in ways those families could only imagine. There were hardships and challenges along the way, but also countless reasons to celebrate. From purchasing a small building near the fire department with no bathroom, to moving into our current facility, to adding new spaces for community groups and connection, each chapter has been part of SCC’s story.

As we celebrate 50 years, we are grateful for everyone who has prayed, served, given, invited, encouraged, and called Seneca Community Church home. Much has changed since those first six families gathered, but our purpose has not. We continue looking ahead with the same desire to point people toward Jesus and to make a difference, wherever we are, by loving and living like Him.

The story that began in 1976 is still being written.
