Beauty and The Beast
Between Friday December 6 2024 and Saturday December 14 2024
Beauty and the Beast is a Disney stage musical with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, and a book by Linda Woolverton. Beauty and the Beast tells the story of an unkind prince who has been magically transformed into an unsightly creature as punishment for his selfish ways. To revert into his true human form, the Beast must learn to love a bright, beautiful young lady who he has imprisoned in his enchanted castle and earn her love in return before it is too late.
Every show begins with a special parade of all the young princes and princesses in attendance (recommended ages--11 and under). Wear your fanciest royal costume and be announced on stage to all those in attendance. Get your photo taken against the backdrop of our fantastical set. Join us at the front of the stage 5 minutes before curtain to be announced and join the parade.

“Reason for the Season” a Holiday Concert with Honey Ribar

Come celebrate the “Reason for the Season” a Holiday Concert with Honey Ribar and friends, hosted by the Eagan High School Theater department!
The Eagan High School Theater Department will be hosting “Reason for the Season” a one night only holiday concert on Friday, December 20 at Eagan High School starting at 7:00 p.m. Proceeds to Reason for the Season will be donated to the EHS Theater Department.
Reason for the Season will feature professional vocalist and songwriter, Honey Ribar, an Eagan High School graduate who has been considered for multiple GRAMMY’s and is an active member in the Recording Academy. Honey will be accompanied by active artists and musicians throughout the Twin Cities, along with students from the EHS Choir & Theater department.

Welcome to Almost, Maine, a place that’s so far north, it’s almost not in the United States. It’s almost in Canada. And it’s not quite a town, because its residents never got around to getting organized. So it almost doesn’t exist. One cold, clear, winter night, as the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, the residents of Almost, Maine, find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend—almost—in this delightful midwinter night’s dream.
This show is recommended for age 10 and older.

Aqua Net, Lycra and Heavy Metal flow freely at one of the Sunset Strip's last legendary venues, a place where legendary rocker Stacee Jaxx takes the stage and groupies line up for their chance at an autograph. Amidst the madness, aspiring rock star (and resident toilet cleaner) Drew longs to take the stage as the next big thing (and longs for small-town girl Sherri, fresh off the bus from Kansas with stars in her eyes). But the rock 'n' roll fairy tale is about to end when German developers sweep into town with plans to turn the fabled Strip into just another capitalist strip mall. Can Drew, Sherri and the gang save the strip – and themselves – before it's too late? Only the music of hit bands Styx, Journey, Bon Jovi, Whitesnake and more can hold the answer.

The fictitious Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society presents a play within a play, when a plethora of disasters befall the cast, including doors sticking, props falling from the walls, and floors collapsing. Cast members are seen misplacing props, forgetting lines, missing cues, breaking character, having to drink white spirit instead of whisky (paint thinner in the U.S. production), mispronouncing words, stepping on fingers, etc.
