Fall Swim Lessons Parent and Tot

The following skills will be worked on: -Climb in and out of the pool -Kick feet in water while sitting or lying on the pool edge -Bring water to face with hands -Dig in water using forward motion -Blow bubbles in water -Kick feet using a floating aide -Front float with support -Back float with support -Child puts face and or ear in water to retrieve an object -Child jumps to parent and returns to the edge using reaching motion

Fall Swim Lessons Advanced Levels (4/5/6)

#25FADVAN1 ~ 5:10 - 5:40 PM
Requirements: Age 9 to adult willing to learn swimming strokes for self-improvements. Currently completed the previous level within Iola-Scandinavia Swim Program or the ability to swim a minimum of 25 yards freestyle and swim on your back in 10 feet of water. Some knowledge of breaststroke-10 yds distance. There will be a skills assessment on the first day of class. Class Targets: ~ Improving each stroke using drills to achieve proficiency ~ Cardio-endurance to swim longer distances ~ Become a more confident swimmer ~ For those interested in learning flip turns, underwater pulls, and treading endurance will be provided.

2025 Summer Thunderbird Swim Team

Practice Times: 7-8AM on Tues & Thurs
This summer swim team will primarily work on developing skills in preparation for the upcoming 2025-2026 Fall/Winter Season. We will not have or go to any swim meet this summer and will not order shirts. Please bring a towel, swimsuit, goggles, swim cap, and water bottle to practice.

Summer 2025: Advanced Swimming

#25ADVANCED ~ 8:10-8:50AM
• Youth Mini-Triathlon – swim distance • Becoming a confident swimmer • Cross train w/ swimming • Additional stroke techniques for swim team self-improvement This course is held for 40 minutes and will be taught by our Master Swim Instructor, Sandra Nymoen. This class will be held for six days beginning on July 14th - July 23rd, kids will meet on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The class is limited to only 8 participants.
