Between Thursday 28 April 2022 and Friday 29 April 2022Leon Tolchinsky is ecstatic. He’s landed a terrific teaching job in an idyllic Russian hamlet. When he arrives, he finds people sweeping dust from the stoops back into their houses and people milking upside down to get more cream. Befriending classmate, Emmett, and spunky hairdresser, Paulette, along the way, Elle finds that books and looks aren't mutually exclusive. Princesses came from far and wide to win the hand of the prince, but none could pass the impossible tests given to them by the Queen. That is, until the “shy” swamp princess, Winnifred the Woebegone, showed up. Carried on a wave of wonderful songs, this rollicking musical provides some side-splitting shenanigans. One house belongs to Flo Owens, who lives there with her two daughters, Madge and Millie, and a schoolteacher boarder. The other house belongs to Helen Potts, who lives with her elderly and invalid mother. Between Friday 5 November 2021 and Saturday 6 November 2021An alien race sends down one of their own posing as a middle school student named Maggie to evaluate the human race and their capacity for accepting outsiders. The alien tries to navigate the social maze of a contemporary middle school and simultaneously uncovers the best and worst traits of today’s pre-teens. When the alien military leaders determine that the human race is inferior, they set in motion a plan to destroy the planet.
