We will visit the Exotic Feline Rescue Center in Center Point, Indiana . Students will learn about these animals and how we can make a difference for these animals right here in Indiana.

Summer STEM Science Camp: students will participate in hands-on STEM activities and labs with the NMHS science teachers, then finish the week with a trip to the Columbian Park Zoo for the Schools on Safari program. Cost includes all camp supplies and trip expenses to Columbian Park.

High School - McCormick's Creek

Explore the spectacular limestone canyon, flowing creek, and scenic waterfalls that highlight Indiana’s first state park, McCormick’s Creek. Hike trails featuring diverse forest trees and native wildflowers, go through an actual cave, or examine the historic Statehouse Quarry near White River, which furnished limestone used for the Indianapolis Statehouse. This trip will include visiting with one of the park’s naturalists to learn more about the park and its features.
