The "Young Frankenstein" musical, based on Mel Brooks' 1974 film, follows Dr. Frederick Frankenstein, a respected surgeon who inherits his family's castle in Transylvania and is drawn into his grandfather Victor's reanimation experiments. With the help of his hunchbacked assistant, Igor, and lab assistant Inga, he succeeds in bringing a corpse to life, leading to hilarious and monstrous consequences.

Many moons ago in a far-off place, Queen Aggravain decreed no couples could marry until her son, Prince Dauntless, found a bride. Princesses came from far and wide to win the hand of the prince, but none could pass the impossible tests given to them by the Queen. That is, until the “shy” swamp princess, Winnifred the Woebegone, showed up. Would she be able to pass the Sensitivity Test, marry her prince and help Lady Larken and Sir Harry to the altar? Carried on a wave of wonderful songs, by turns hilarious and raucous, romantic and melodic, this rollicking spin on the classic tale The Princess and the Pea provides some side-splitting shenanigans. For after all, a princess is a delicate thing.

Joe's Café is a lip-synching performance where each theatre class learns a dance and performs in front of their peers. This is a tradition here at KLMS.
All performances will be on the morning of December 19th. If your student is a 7th or 8th grader, they will perform twice, once for the 7th grade class and once for the 8th grade. Mrs. Henry's Broadcasting classes will also be performing.
If your student is a 6th grader, they will perform once, for the 6th grade class.
The schedule is as follows:
8th Grade Performance: 8:20 AM
7th Grade Performance: 9:25 AM
6th Grade Performance: 10:30 AM
Please plan to arrive early to account for parking and check-in at the front office.
You must bring your ID (Driver's License or state ID) and be prepared to show your purchased ticket.
YOU MUST PURCHASE A TICKET ONLINE BY DECEMBER 18TH. WE WILL NOT BE SELLING TICKETS AT THE DOOR.

KLMS Haunted Hallways 2025

This event will be on November 1st from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Haunted Hallways is an event that we did in 2021 and 2022. Students will design and decorate the 6th grade hallway like a Haunted House. Then we invite students, families, and community members to buy tickets and walk through.
Tickets can be purchased online until October 31st.
Tickets can be purchased with CASH ONLY at the event on November 1st.
***1 Ticket allows 1 patron to walk the hallway ONCE. If you would like to walk through more than once, you may purchase multiple tickets.

They commit her to a sanatorium, hoping she'll be declared insane and be forced to surrender her money. However, she ends up befriending the residents and finds a way to bring joy to them all.

The clinic is held Sunday, October 5th in the main gym at Connally HS. The football performance is Thursday, October 9th at the PFIELD.

The Kelly Lane Spring One-Act Play is a student-directed project. 8th-grade Theatre III students have the opportunity to apply to direct this show. The top applicant is selected to host auditions and interviews for cast and crew. These students work together to create a show from the ground up.
This year's directors are Riley R. and James F. They are directing "I'm A Teenager Get Me Out Of This Family" by Jim Garvey.
