The award-winning Dynamic Earth explores the inner workings of Earth’s great life support system: the global climate. With visualizations based on satellite monitoring data and advanced supercomputer simulations, this cutting-edge production follows a trail of energy that flows from the Sun into the interlocking systems that shape our climate: the atmosphere, oceans, and the biosphere. Accompanied by narrators Aesop, the owl, and Socrates, the mouse, we follow Orion’s adventures as he grows to manhood, battles mythical beasts, foils the plot of an evil king, and wins the heart of Artemis, the beautiful moon goddess. By the end of the story, we learn how the constellation Orion was placed in the sky, forever turning overhead throughout the seasons.

Cell, Cell, Cell is the story of the trillions of cells that form our bodies, from our beginnings as a single cell to the complexity of a whole body: it’s the story of who we are. Audience members will join characters Raj and Sooki to dive into the busy world of cells, watching ‘alien trees’ and wriggling ‘slugs’ fly past on a giant 360o fulldome screen.
Molecularium is a cartoon animated show for younger audiences that makes learning molecular science fun. The creators have integrated advanced scientific simulations into an immersive cartoon with kid-friendly characters to introduce young people to the world of atoms and molecules. The Molecularium project is part of the educational and outreach program of RPI’s National Science Foundation funded Nanoscale Science and Engineering Center for Directed Assembly of Nanostructures.
