In this 90-minute experience, students dive into hands-on discovery—examining real meteorites, seeing Orange County’s only Foucault pendulum, and exploring NOAA’s Science on a Sphere. Then they’ll relax beneath the planetarium’s 50-foot dome for a themed pre-show and feature film, followed by a guided tour of that night’s constellations and a short Q&A with an OCC astronomy student. Most shows are student-led, making the experience engaging, educational, and truly out of this world.
