Important Dates:

  • Wednesday, August 14, 2024 (12:01 am) - Early Bird ticket sales open

  • Friday, September 13, 2024 (11:59 pm) - Early Bird ticket sales close

  • Saturday, September 14, 2024  (12:01am) - Regular ticket sales open - NOTE CHANGE IN PRICING OCCURS AT MIDNIGHT!

  • Wednesday, September 18, 2024 (11:59 pm) - Regular ticket sales CLOSE - No additional tickets may be purchased after this date!  There is no “late” window to purchase tickets.  Students who missed the deadline may add themselves to the “Ticket Exchange”, but there is no guarantee they will get a ticket after ticket sales close.

Who May Attend?

HoCo is a semi-formal dance for ALL WHS students.  While you do not need a “date” or a “guest” to attend, WHS students may invite one guest to attend with them.  Guests may be a WHS student OR a non-WHS student who must be at least a sophomore in high school and not be more than one year out of high school.

A NON-WHS Student Guest Form for WHS HoCo 2024  will need to be completed for all non-WHS student guests before guest tickets can be purchased.  If this form is not submitted, the guest will not be admitted into the dance.  Guest forms MUST be submitted by Monday, September 16 at 11:59 pm to guarantee processing prior to the close of ticket sales on September 18.  All Non-WHS Guest forms must be approved by the Deans before tickets can be purchased.

How Much are Tickets?

Early Bird Special: From Wednesday, August 14 -  Friday, September 13 at 11:59 pm  the cost of a ticket for a WHS Student or a WHS Student Guest  will be $15. The cost for a  Non-WHS Student Guest will be $20.  Please note that a Guest form MUST be submitted and on file in order to purchase a non-WHS student guest ticket.  DO NOT PURCHASE a non-WHS Student Guest ticket until it has been approved.  Upon approval, you will be sent the non-WHS student link to purchase your guest’s ticket.  Plan accordingly in order to capitalize on the early bird special.

Regular Ticket Pricing for WHS Students:  Starting September 14 at 12:01 am through Wednesday, September 18 at 11:59 pm,the cost of a ticket for a WHS student or WHS Student Guest will be $25.  You will not be able to purchase a ticket after September 18, 2024 for ANY REASON but may add yourself to the “Ticket Exchange”. 

Regular Ticket Pricing for Non-WHS Student Guests:  Starting September 14 at 12:01 am through Wednesday, September 18 at 11:59 pm, the cost for a Non-WHS Student Guest will be $50. You will not be able to purchase a non-WHS student guest ticket if the guest form is not received by September 16 at 11:59 pm.  This is a firm deadline, please plan accordingly!
Ticket Sales end on September 18, 2024 at 11:59 pm.  Do not ask.  There is nothing we can do!      

                                                            

Can I sell my Ticket to someone else or give my ticket to someone else if I can’t go?  

The short answer is No.  Tickets are assigned to student ID and you must present your ID at the dance in order to be admitted.  Staff will check IDs as you enter the event.  

New this year. We have created a WHS Student Ticket Exchange.  If you are no longer able to go or you have an extra ticket, complete this form.  If you were not able to purchase a ticket by the deadline, and would like a ticket, add your name to this list.  Ticket exchanges will be managed by our office staff.  All exchanges must be completed by the end of the business day on Friday, September 20, 2024. Exchanges will be assigned on a first come - first served basis - and there is no guarantee that an exchange can be made.

Please note.  No exchanges will be made on the day of the event!  

How do I purchase tickets?

Tickets are available for purchase on Vanco. QR codes are also located around the building or on the Student Council Instagram (@wayzatastuco).  All tickets are advance sales only - NO tickets will be sold at the door and no tickets will be sold after September 18, 2024 at 11:59 pm!  Please plan accordingly!  


WHS students may request a voucher for HoCo tickets by completing the Voucher Request Form.  Once verified and approved by a member of the SST, the student will receive information regarding next steps.  This form MUST be submitted by Monday, September 16, 2024 at 11:59 pm in order to provide enough time to process tickets prior to the deadline.

What else should I know about the event?

Students will present their WHS ID (any student ID will work) and their QR ticket code for entrance at the dance.  If a student does not have an photo ID, staff will use Skyward at the event to verify that the ticket matches the ticket holder.  WHS students should have the QR code saved on their device to expedite the process of getting scanned into the dance.  You may also print the QR code if you prefer, in the past, some students have struggled with wifi connectivity or battery life on their device.  Random breathalyzers will be conducted as students arrive at the event by WHS Deans.  Once a student leaves the event, they will not be able to re-enter.

Northern Lights will be providing the music.  Concessions will be available for purchase.

The dance ends at 11:00 pm.  Please arrange for transportation to be at WHS by 11:00 pm.

$15 for WHS Student Early Bird - $25 after September 14th 12:01 am

$20 for non-WHS Guest Early Bird- $50 after September 14th 12:01 am (This ticket must be purchased via the link that will be sent once the Guest Form has been received).
