We are planning a retreat that will be meaningful, enriching, illuminating, and enjoyable. You don't want to miss it! And we don't want you to miss it either.What: We'll be led by Dave Odom, executive director of Leadership Education at Duke Divinity School. Dave led our Imagine Retreat in April of 2023, and we’re thrilled for him to return and facilitate our retreat again. He’ll lead us in three sessions: one on Friday evening and two on Saturday.
During our time together, we’ll reflect on what we’ve heard and learned as a congregation through our inclusion discernment process. Dave will invite us to imagine and recommend potential next steps as we work toward fulfilling our church’s call toward greater inclusion of all peoples.
Who: Everyone at 2BC is invited to the retreat (high school age and up!). Whether you've been a member for 40 years or just started attending recently, we want you to come. We’ll offer activities for children ages birth-5th grade throughout the retreat.
