Join us as we learn to ski and enjoy being outside on the slopes! For those new to skiing, we are offering full-day and half-day ski lessons for ages 5-13. There is also the option for 5-13 year olds to have only 2 hr lessons. For new skiers 14+ there are 2-hour lessons available. All lessons come with rentals and lift tickets for the entire day. Students will have the option of learning to ski or snowboard. Parent Chaperones are required to ski with their children unless they are in all-day lessons. If this is the case, you have the option of hanging out in the lodge or purchasing a discounted lift ticket for the day out of pocket. This is NOT a drop-off event and all chaperones will be required to stay on Sierra at Tahoe property for the entirety of the event while their children are participating.
For those who are not in the all-day lessons, we will have a lunch meet-up to enjoy community with one another.

Please read CAREFULLY through ALL the details below before registering. These details are crucial to participation in this event.

• Students MUST be at least 5 years of age to participate. 4-year-old TK students are not allowed.
• Clothing is so important! Please dress appropriately for the weather and for the activity. Wearing layers is a great way to go because then you can adjust depending on how you feel at different times of the day per the weather.
• It is very important that you arrive by 8 AM to get checked in and begin gathering your rental equipment. All lessons start promptly at 8:30 AM.
• You are welcome to bring your own lunch or you may purchase food at the lodge. For All Day Lessons (8:30 am-3:30 pm), lunch is included in the price and you will have a chance to choose a meal for your child closer to the event.
• Parking is free and available on-site.
• Cottonwood Students only, no siblings
• This event will not be canceled due to weather conditions. If it is snowing, the resort will be open and the event will move forward as planned.

Find package information below. On the tickets page, you will select your desired package. ALL packages REQUIRE a skiing chaperone EXCEPT Package A. Package A may select a NON-SKIING Required Chaperone.

Package A: Child Ticket (5-13 yrs) All-day lesson to ski or snowboard, rental, and ticket. OPTIONAL Chaperone ticket out of pocket ONLY (rental optional and included in price) OR non-participating chaperone ticket MUST be added. All-day lesson is not drop off and chaperones must stay on site from 8am - 3:30pm. $167 student/ $107 Chaperone

Package B: Teen (14 yrs+) 2hr Lesson plus All Day Ticket w/ Rental + Must ADD ON Chaperone ticket (optional rental available - included in price), $125 Student/ $107 Chaperone

Package C: Child (5-13 yrs) 2hr lesson plus All Day Ticket w/ Rental + Must ADD ON Chaperone ticket (optional rental available - included in price), $135 Student/ $107 Chaperone

Package D: Child Ticket 5-13 years old (no rental or lesson). Must ADD ON Chaperone Ticket (optional rental available- included in price), $50 student/ $107 Chaperone

Package E: Teen Ticket 14 yrs and up w/ rental (no lessons). Must ADD ON Chaperone Ticket (optional rental available - included in price), $107 student/ $107 Chaperone

Package F: Child Ticket (5-13 yrs old) w/ rental (no lessons). Must ADD ON Chaperone Ticket (optional rental available - included in price), $93 student/ $107 Chaperone

How to Register:

1) Select student package(s), one for each student attending according to the package they need. 

2) Select Required Chaperone & Additional Adults for supervision purposes. Remember, you may only order ONE Required Chaperone deducted from funds if you have less than 5 students attending. If you have 5 or more students attending, you may order TWO Required Chaperones deducted from funds. Other attending adults must get an 'Additional Adult' ticket. 

3) Fill out the order form and submit order.
