About

Art and literacy come together as we tour the Crocker Art Museum and observe the elements that artists include to tell their stories and bring their messages to life. Students will participate in a docent-guided tour and discussions, followed by a sketching workshop where they will engage with the artistic process and make connections with the artwork they've explored.

Students are invited to stay after the tour to eat lunch with their classmates. Students staying for lunch should bring a nut-free sack lunch that does not require refrigeration or a microwave. Staying for lunch is not required.

This is an opportunity exclusively for Cottonwood's 8th graders.

Drop-Off Option: Students may be dropped off for this event. Drop-off waivers must be completed for any student being dropped off.
