Families are invited to sign up for an exciting visit to the Junípero Serra Museum in Presidio Park! This interactive experience brings San Diego’s history to life. The San Diego Before Statehood program lets children explore real Kumeyaay artifacts, giving them a hands-on look at how the Kumeyaay people lived. Then, they’ll head outside to walk the land where the original Presidio once stood and imagine what life was like long ago. The guided visit adds even more adventure, with stories and visuals that make history fun and engaging for all ages.Tickets will be purchased for BEST Academy students and 1 parent per student. Parents must stay on site with their child throughout the event; dropping off and leaving is not permitted.
