Journey back in time at Mission San Juan Capistrano with a field trip that brings California mission studies to life. Students will take part in a hands-on workshop at 11:00 am, where they’ll learn about the work of the original Acjachemen people and build their own adobe brick, exploring the skills, history, and resources that shaped the Mission. Then, at 11:45 am, they’ll experience the self-guided audio tour If These Walls Could Talk—a storytelling journey with 23 stops told through the “Mission Wall,” sharing perspectives from indigenous builders, padres, soldiers, and more.Tickets will be purchased for BEST Academy students and one parent per student. Parents must remain on site with their child for the duration of the field trip; drop-off is not permitted.
