Students in grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 are invited to explore the fascinating world of gems and jewelry through the GemKids® GemTrip™ program at the Gemological Institute of America. This two-hour hands-on experience, led by expert Gem Coaches, connects earth science learning with the sparkle of real gemstones. On GIA’s beautiful ocean-view campus in Carlsbad, students will spark curiosity, foster creativity, and discover what makes the world of gemology so unique.Tickets will be purchased for BEST Academy students and one parent per student. Parents must remain on site with their child for the duration of the field trip; drop-off is not permitted.
