Puffs, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic by Matt Cox is a silly, fast, and heart-filled play that tells the story of the magical world from a brand-new point of view: the Puffs! Instead of following the famous hero, we get to see what it’s like to be the underdogs just trying to make it through school without blowing up a potion or getting eaten by a giant snake. Wayne and his friends remind us that you don’t have to be “the chosen one” to do something special—you just have to be yourself. Full of jokes, magic, and a whole lot of Puff pride, this story shows that being loyal, kind, and brave in your own way is pretty awesome.
Note: Puffs is a parody and not connected to J.K. Rowling, Warner Bros., or the official Harry Potter franchise. This is the Two Act for Young Wizards Edition, which means it’s adapted for school
