About

Called By Name is a vocation promotion program that encourages individuals to consider a calling to the priesthood or religious life. In this pilot stage of the program, in which 8-10 parishes are asked to participate, parishioners are invited and encouraged to nominate Catholic single young men between the ages of 14 and 40 whom they believe Jesus might be calling to the priesthood or religious life. A later launch of this program will be diocesan-wide. Also, a similar initiative for women will be launched after this pilot launch of Called By Name.
