Students will explore historic locomotives, passenger cars, and streetcars while learning about the history of rail transportation and its impact on California’s growth and development. As they walk through authentic railcars and outdoor exhibits, students will engage in discussions about engineering, innovation, and how trains shaped trade, travel, and communities. This hands-on history experience combines social studies, STEM learning, and interactive exploration in a unique outdoor museum setting.Tickets will be purchased for BEST Academy students and one parent per student. Parents must remain on site with their child for the duration of the field trip; drop-off is not permitted.
