Art at Eisenhower Park in Seal Beach
About
Students will create faux stained-glass suncatchers by designing intersecting line patterns and filling sections with transparent color. Students will be able to explain how light interactswith color and demonstrate how transparency and layering affect the brightness and appearance of colors when placed in a light source.
Parents are encouraged to participate and must remain with their children for the duration of the event; please, no drop-offs. Don’t forget to bring your blankets for seating in the grassy areas overlooking the ocean.
