The Dismantling Racism: A Continuous Journey workshop takes place Wednesday, May 20th, 2026, at Towson Presbyterian Church, from 8:30 am – 4 pm, lunch included.The workshop will be facilitated by Dr. Sarah Doerrer and Ruling Elder Charese Jordan Moore.
There are 4 main objectives:
+ Continue to broaden and deepen our understanding of how racism and white supremacy shape us as individuals and as church institutions (local churches and presbytery, in particular)
+ Focus in on institutional culture, historical harm, repentance and repair (particular areas of current importance within the presbytery)
+ Provide opportunity for individual reflection & analysis
+ Support the development of a personalized action plan for each participant
