What is lay ministry? Lay ministry is anything you do to glorify God and help yourself and others live the reign of Christ on Earth. This can include working in a church-based or community soup kitchen, setting the table or beautifying a worship space with the altar guild, grounds clean up at your parish or mission building, teaching Sunday School or leading a Bible or book study providing grief counseling through our Community of Hope, general pastoral care, and the list goes on!
