Session 3 July 20-30 Summer `26 Swim Lessons L.3-Seahorse
In Level 3 - Seahorse you will go over the following:
MUST BE ABLE TO SWIM IN 7-10’ WATER
Review:
-Elementary Backstroke
-Front & back glide; 2 body lengths
-Sitting Dive
-Backstroke with fins
Skills:
-Retrieve a submerged object, in 6-7ft of water
-Front Float; 5 seconds
-Back Float; in deep water 15 seconds
-Kneeling dive
-Freestyle swim for 20 yards
-Breaststroke arms w/ float
-Treading water 15-20 seconds
-Elementary backstroke; kicks
-Elementary backstroke; arms & kicks together
-Breaststroke kick w/ float
-Diving board
Drills:
-Arm lead with fins
-Head lead with fins
-Arm lead face in face out with fins
-Freestyle with or w/out fins
-Freestyle with barbell as needed
-Backstroke with or without fins; 25 yards
