Parish Family Formation:

Beginning with families of children in grades 1–4, this incremental approach seeks to strengthen family relationships, foster lasting faith practices, and build a supportive parish community where parents are encouraged and equipped to raise lifelong disciples of Jesus.

Our Parish Family Formation model is designed to equip parents as the primary teachers of the faith while creating meaningful opportunities for families to grow together in Christ. The family centric- church supported process will foster connection within families and provide a more foundational faith culture in the home.

Practically, the process is open to families and their children entering grades 1-4 the fall of 2026.
In our three to five year plan, we will expand the grades involved.
Our long-term vision will eventually include a complete formation offering for anyone in the parish.

There are three key components of Parish Family Formation:

1. Family Session- First Wednesday of the month, 6-7:30pm
●Includes: prayer, "summer camp" formatted learning for children, essential parent faith focused support, and faith formation.
●Eight sessions over the school year.

2. Youth Session- One Wednesday a month, 6-7:30pm
●Prayer, grade/gender -based peer groups, and activities/games/crafts focused on Saints and virtue.
●Nine sessions over the school year.

3. At Home Sessions- 1 to 2 times a month, at your leisure
●15-20 minute family faith sessions at home.
●Follow a Church session model using our resource box.

Cost: $175 each child

(Currently at this time: For this first year of this new program, we are only offering "Parish Family Formation" to families with children in grade 1-4.
The adults and other children in your family do not have a fee for this program. Material provided for your family has no separate fee.)

●You may enter "Deposit" into the coupon code spot at time of check out if you do not want to pay in full.
●At least 50% payment & scholarship applications are due within seven days of your registration, to confirm your spot(s) for each child.
●The maximum payment per household for faith formation is $525 (not including sacrament preparation.)
If you think your family will exceed this amount, please pay only 50% at this time and we will contact you with the remaining balance due.

Example of a typical month:
Week 1: Family Formation at church
Week 2: Family Formation at home, at your leisure
Week 3: Youth Formation at church
Week 4: Family Formation at home, at your leisure
(Please know that Youth Formation won't always necessarily be in week 3, it may move to accommodate the liturgical calendar or school breaks.)

Time: Wednesdays 6-7:30pm
Dates: September 2026-May 2027
The schedule will be emailed post registration, in a welcome letter email sent by the end of the month.

Be sure to have your family name and class names on the check memo/envelope.

There is a drop box near the parish office door for after-hours submission.

● All refunds are issued in the form of a check.
●We process credit/debit cards through Vanco; they charge a nominal fee for the service, which does not credit towards your faith formation balance owed.
